In the simplest of terms, EDGE Program gives you the ability to offer 2 prices, one for cash and another for non-cash purchases.
Based on the form of payment, the EDGE Program will do one of two things:
A: EDGE will automatically assess a 4% credit card processing fee on customer purchases for all NON CASH (aka credit) SALES and print a receipt. To BE CLEAR your customers pay the non-cash price.
B: EDGE will alternative create a CASH purchase receipt for customers who pay with cash.
Both prices and receipts are automatically managed for you with the EDGE system, based on the form of payment. Your responsibility will be to provide a cash price and a non-cash price on your products. This is similar to many gas stations which charge a cash price and a credit card price.
This is different from a credit card surcharge program, which goes against VISA rules.
The EDGE Program will then use the FLAT rate charged and automatically cover all your processing fees, merchant account monthly account fees and PCI compliance fees.
With the EDGE Program you avoid paying credit card processing fees, merchant account fees and even PCI compliance fees.
